This CPD accredited training course is suitable for professionals who work closely with families of children who are deaf or have hearing loss.
You鈥檒l learn insights and strategies to support parents/carers and help them understand the impact childhood deafness may have.
The training will cover:
- the emotional impact of parenting a deaf child on parents/carers鈥� confidence and self-esteem
- developing good communication in families and with professionals
- raising self-esteem, resilience and confidence in parents and children
- behaviour management techniques.
